Silver Alert issued for missing Charlotte woman

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Silver Alert was issued for Virginia Oates Henderson, 75, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, and may be heading to Shelby, officials said.

Henderson is black, 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds.

She was last seen at 7708 Heatherdale Ct. in Charlotte. She was wearing a white dress with gold trim, a grey shirt and blue tights.

She is driving a silver 2010 Lexus with North Carolina plates YRY-9724.
