CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are conducting a death investigation after a woman's body was found behind a building overnight in north Charlotte.
The woman was found just before midnight along Beatties Ford Road near Lasalle Street.
Investigators told Channel 9 that the body was found on private property, so investigators had to get a warrant before they could gather evidence.

Investigators said there are no signs of foul play but are still working to determine how the woman died.
