Fans pack stadium for Panthers draft party

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers will hold a Primetime NFL Draft Party at Bank of America Stadium on Thursday.

The team is holding the event as a thank-you to the fans, and is free to the public starting at 5:30 p.m.

The NFL draft will be shown on large LED screens outside the stadium in the Morehead Street parking lot and on video screens inside the stadium bowl.

Panthers players will be on hand at 6 p.m. to meet fans and sign autographs.

In addition, fans will be offered exclusive behind-the-scenes access to areas of the stadium not usually open to the public, including tours of the Panthers' team locker room.

Additional entertainment will include live music by The Voltage Brothers and Parmalee, appearances by the TopCats,  Sir Purr and the Carolina Panthers Drum Line, sponsor interactives, and a question-and-answer session with Panthers play-by-play announcer Mick Mixon.

 Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
