Mark your calendars, ladies. The Southern Women's Show is coming to Charlotte from Aug. 23-25.

Get ready to shop, sample and see a few famous faces.

This year's celebrity guests include world champion dancer and reality TV star Val Chmerkovskiy from “Dancing with the Stars,” "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks and former Charlotte Hornets player and fan favorite Muggsy Bogues.

Browse through hundreds of boutique booths filled with the latest fashions, trendy jewelry, gourmet treats, health and beauty items and more.

There will also be fashion shows, including the popular “Handsome Heroes” show, plus demonstrations with top chefs and DIY workshops.

The show will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center (Hall C), located at 501 South College Street in uptown.

Admission at the door costs $12 for adults and $6 for kids ages 6-12. Children under 6 are admitted free with a paying adult.

Advance tickets can be purchased online for $10 (adults) and $6 (kids).

Teachers, school staff, military and police, fire and rescue personnel can receive free admission by showing a valid ID at the ticket office.

If you want to save a few dollars, admission is only $4 if you go after 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
