MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Dorian could cause problems along the Carolina coast over the next few days, which is not something coastal residents want to hear after dealing with Hurricane Florence -- the storm that devastated so many communities.

As Hurricane Dorian weakened off the coast of Florida, some people told Channel 9 they plan to ride out the storm while others aren't taking any chances and are taking shelter away from the coast.

"It just seemed to stall," resident Peter McLaughlin said. "It is real concerning. It isn't anything to fool around with. You do need to get out."
