LANCASTER CO., S.C.,None — Arrest warrants have been issued for Marico Lamont Stevens and Anthony Rodriekus Carter in the death of 3-year-old Jaylen Jackson.
Both have been charged with murder. Carter is currently in the Lancaster County Detention Center on an unrelated charge, and Stevens was arrested Thursday afternoon, police said.
Stevens is the girl's mother's boyfriend.
Jackson was shot and killed Monday night in a trailer park on Athena Road in Lancaster County.

Eyewitness News went to the victim's house Thursday night. A neighbor said he often saw Stevens playing with Jackson in the front yard, adding that he could tell Stevens loved the girl.
Sheriff's deputies haven't released many details about the events leading up to the shooting, but family members said Jackson was in the back seat of a car that Stevens was driving.
For an unknown reason, they went to the trailer park on Athena Road. Neighbors reported hearing yelling involving at least half a dozen people.
It quickly escalated into gunfire, said neighbor Heather McIntyre.
"It sounded like everybody was shooting," she said. "There was one big one, then lots of other shots."
After the gunfire, others saw people in white T-shirts running away from the house in all directions.
Investigators spent Tuesday afternoon interviewing people in the trailer park. At one point, they asked reporters to leave so they could take statements from neighbors and witnesses.
A deputy coroner for Lancaster County plans to do an autopsy in a few days. The coroner's office will not release specifics about the girl's death until then.
Sheriff's deputies picked up several shell casings from one neighbor's driveway, but are not talking about a motive.
