Clorite also says its a great idea to remove the clutter from your home. This includes removing large furniture, counter top items and magnets from the refrigerator.
"When someone is going to show your house, make sure you are gone. So when that potential buyer walks through the home with a realtor they can feel like the home is theirs.

A home clean of clutter, including your presence is important, but Joan Hileman of Exit Realty South says your listing price is also paramount.
"Sellers need to remember its not what you need to get out of the house, or what your neighbors house appraised for six months ago. The best market price is what a buyer is willing to pay.
Realtors also say its important to maintain your curb appeal. You should consider putting down some mulch and planting a few flowers.
