CHARLOTTE — Some Wells Fargo customers are now finding out they have more time to ask for their share of the $142 million fake account scandal settlement.

The original deadline for filing a claim was back in February. It's been extended to July 7.

If you think the bank opened a checking, savings, or credit card account for you without your permission, you may be eligible for money.
