CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — A fire started in two apartments in southeast Charlotte early Tuesday morning. Investigators said the fires are suspicious.
The units were both vacant at the Beacon Eastchase Apartments on Chasewood Drive off Monroe Road.
Other residents were evacuated.
The fires were put out quickly, and there was no damage to surrounding apartments.
