HICKORY, N.C.,None — An unconscious man found in the front of a church says he doesn't know what happened to him.
A pastor found the man lying in a pool of blood Sunday morning in the entryway of Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
The 45-year-old man had severe head trauma and was taken to a hospital in Winston-Salem, according to Hickory Police Sgt. Robert George.
The Hickory Daily Record reported the man did tell police he had been at the Lazy Dog Saloon but couldn't remember what happened.
"He doesn't have much memory about what happened," George said. "He lay there for several hours."
