CONCORD, N.C.,None — Firefighters said an outdoor grill likely started a house fire in Concord Monday night.
The City of Concord Department of Fire and Life Safety were dispatched to a house fire on Central Drive at 6:27 p.m. Monday. When they got to the scene, they said they could see flames and heavy smoke.
A family of four lived in the home but was not inside at the time of the fire.
The house suffered severe damage.
Firefighters urged people to remember that a grill should have a 10-foot safety zone at all times.
