ROWAN COUNTY, N.C.,None — The Rowan County Sheriff's Office charged a woman with murder after a fatal shooting.
Investigators said they responded to shooting on South Vance Street in Landis Friday night. Upon arrival, deputies said they found 36-year-old Roy Daniels Junior bleeding from the stomach.
Deputies arrested 32-year-old Brandy Nicole Lyons and charged her with murder after she was questioned by sheriff's investigators.
Lyons was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center without bond pending a court date on Monday.
Authorities told Eyewitness News that a 6-year-old child was also in the home at the time of the shooting.
