CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Drew Pescaro, a University of North Carolina Charlotte student injured during a deadly shooting in April, decided to commemorate the day he said he will never forget, according to WTVD.
Pescaro, 19, tweeted photos Saturday of the tattoo, which says, "Not Afraid 4-30-19."
In his tweet, he said his life was changed forever on April 30, but he is stronger because of it.
"Never will I forget the day my life changed forever, but I am #notafraid to rise from it stronger than ever. We will all come out stronger from this @unccharlotte #CharlotteStrong," Pescaro said.
