ROCK HILL, S.C. — Parents scared for their child's safety contacted Channel 9 about the danger on their street after drivers were seen speeding and ignoring a school crosswalk.

One of the parents even asked Rock Hill Police if it was OK for her to go buy a vest, get a sign and go out and stop traffic herself -- they told her that was not a good idea.
"I want these people to drive like their loved one is crossing the street," parent Robyn Crank said.
