CHARLOTTE — One person is recovering in the hospital after being shot in north Charlotte on Monday afternoon.
Paramedics went to a shooting on Demeter Lane in north Charlotte just after 5 p.m.

One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, MEDIC says.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the scene as officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were investigating.
Channel 9 has reached out to police to see what led up to the shooting.
