CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Volkswagen Beetle crashed into an apartment building Tuesday night sending one to a hospital, Charlotte officials said.
The driver slammed into an apartment at Craven Thomas and Prosperity Ridge roads.
It took eight firefighters about eight minutes to free the driver from the crash scene.
No one inside the apartment was hurt.
That person had life-threatening injuries, according to paramedics.
