CHARLOTTE — Five shootings occurred throughout the Charlotte area Thursday afternoon, according to MEDIC.
The first shooting occurred just after 4 p.m. on the 2400 block of North Tryon Street.
MEDIC said that the victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The second shooting occurred on the 5000 block of Northstream Drive.
MEDIC determined that this victim had non-life-threatening injuries.
A third shooting was then reported on the 2800 block of West Boulevard.
The victim in this case was taken to Atrium Main with life-threatening injuries, according to MEDIC.

The fourth shooting happened on the 2800 block of Bancroft Street.
MEDIC said the victim of this shooting was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A fifth shooting then occurred on the 3400 block of Forestbrook Drive.
The victim in this incident was taken to Atrium Main with life-threatening injuries as well.
