1 seriously hurt in north Charlotte shooting

CHARLOTTE — One person was seriously hurt in a north Charlotte shooting Thursday night, MEDIC said.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Nevin Road and North Graham Street.

MEDIC said the victim’s injuries are life-threatening.

Several officers were at the scene, and the intersection was blocked off with crime scene tape. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department even brought in its helicopter.

Channel 9 is asking for more information about the victim and if CMPD has any information about a shooter.
