CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A developer that’s steadily becoming more active in Charlotte has proposed hundreds of apartments in a 15-story tower in SouthPark.
Dominion Realty Partners, which is based in Raleigh but has a local office, filed a rezoning petition with the city to build as many as 365 multifamily units at 6310 Fairview Road, the current site of a Fifth Third Bank branch.

Dominion’s plans call for a maximum building height of 185 feet and the developer is seeking to rezone the land to MUDD-O, or mixed-use development district with optional provisions.
The petition also calls for 1,500 square feet of “nonresidential” uses.
