RALEIGH — A $1 million winning Powerball ticket from Monday’s drawing was sold at the 7-Eleven on Atwater Lane in Denver in Lincoln County.

The lucky $2 ticket matched the numbers on all five white balls to secure the $1 million prize.
The winner has 180 days after the drawing to claim the prize.
Brunswick County ticket
A second winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Brunswick County. That $2 ticket was purchased at the Circle K on River Road in Belville after matching four white balls and the red Powerball.
The odds of matching all five white balls are 1 in 11.6 million, while the odds of matching four white balls plus the red Powerball are one in 913,129. Both ticket holders have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
Wednesday’s Powerball drawing offers a $409 million jackpot, which carries a cash value of $170.2 million. The odds of matching all numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
