CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two men were confirmed dead after an accident on Interstate 77 Sunday morning, officials said.
Troopers said that wet weather played a role in the crash, which happened near Sunset Road.
The two victims were in a sweeper truck, which crashed into several trees, officials said.
Troopers said they believe the crash happened at least four hours before anyone found the wreckage.
Then men had been sweeping parking lots in Charlotte. Their names have not been released.
