WILKESBORO, N.C. — Two Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief units left Wilkesboro, N.C., Tuesday morning and are headed for Moore, Okla.
Channel 9 spoke to the charitable group.
They said the trip should take the drivers about 18 hours to get to the devastated community.
The trucks are full of all the tools volunteers need to help clean up.
The focus for Samaritan's Purse at the beginning will be helping victims find personal items in their damaged homes.
