MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — Several of Mecklenburg County’s priciest residential transactions in May topped the $2 million mark.
The home that carried the highest overall price tag last month sold for nearly $2.5 million at the start of May. The 6,411-square-foot home is located on Lemon Tree Lane near the SouthPark area. It has five bedrooms and five full bathrooms in addition to two half-bathrooms.

The home includes features such as an updated chef’s kitchen, heated pool and pool house, custom millwork, five fireplaces and a miniature putting green, according to its real estate listing. Ann Wood Holladay of Wood Williams Realty is the listing broker.
Three additional residential properties also crossed $2 million when selling last month. Those and other homes found on the list of the county’s 10 priciest home sales in May can be viewed in this slideshow.
They range in price from $1.64 million to $2,485,900 and span the Charlotte neighborhoods of Foxcroft, Eastover, Myers Park, Quail Hollow and Stonecroft as well as Lookout Point in Huntersville.
