ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Three firefighters are in the hospital after a house fire in Rowan County.
Emergency Services said it happened Tuesday in the West Rowan community.
Multiple agencies responded from the county and beyond, and at one point, a mayday was called during the fire fight.
Thankfully, none of the firefighters sustained life-threatening injuries.
Officials say one of the injured firefighters was from another agency who had come to protect the Rowan community.
Tragically, the fire left a family without a home.
Channel 9 is asking for more information about what caused it.
