CHARLOTTE — Three people were hurt in a drive-by shooting early Sunday at an east Charlotte nightclub, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
Officers responded just after 2 a.m. to the parking lot of Lituation Lounge, on Independence Boulevard near Ovens Auditorium. The business had closed for the night.

According to CMPD, three people were shot and taken to the hospital. They are expected to be OK.
Police said a fight had broken out earlier in the night. Then, someone drove past the club, fired about 100 rounds, and left the scene.
A short time later, three victims showed up at the hospital.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident. They have not yet released information on a suspect or arrest.
