IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Three people were sentenced in the case of a father accused of kidnapping his son in Statesville.
Lorraine Colpitts, Tony Winslow and Michael Warman were sentenced to 18 months' probation and community service.

Investigators said Rickey Thomas Jr. hired them to kidnap his 17-year-old son and bring him to Massachusetts, which is where Thomas lives.
