70-year-old Lancaster man located, found safe, deputies say

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said Charles Robert “Bobby” Jones has been located and is safe.

Jones, 70, was reported missing after he disappeared at approximately 6 p.m. Saturday at 3349 Legend Road in Lancaster, deputies said.

Jones drives a red 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with a South Carolina license tag EPI 988.

Deputies said the truck has body scratches and the license tag is dented.

Jones is a veteran, and the truck has a submarine services sticker with dolphins on the back window.

Jones’ debit card was used in Laurinburg, North Carolina, at approximately 8 p.m. Saturday.

It was also used at an unknown time at the Murphy Express Convenience Store in Conover, North Carolina.

Jones requires medication for several medical conditions and does not have his medications with him.
