Prosecutors could call accused gang members to testify against their own gang for the murders of three people.
Wednesday was the second day of testimony in the federal case against Ahkeem McDonald, Randall Hankins and Nana Adoma.

Prosecutors said he was one of 12 gang members who conspired t
McDonald and Adoma are not charged directly in that case, but are accused in the conspiracy to kill an alleged gang informant in 2013.
Earlier this year, Adoma and McDonald's attorneys asked the judge for separate trials, but the judge refused.
The attorneys claim evidence against Hankins would sway the jury.
