MURRELS INLET, S.C. — An alligator that attacked and killed a pet dog was captured Thursday.
Russell “The Snake Chaser” Cavender snared the estimated 10-foot gator in a pond at Blackmoor Golf Course,

Cavender shared an image of his catch, as well as a message to pet owners:
“Keep them on a leash, people!”
