Alternate routes to avoid traffic during New Year’s Day 5K in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — More than 800 people are starting off the new year with a 5K Saturday morning in Charlotte, but that could mean traffic delays for those not running.

Traffic Team 9′s Mark Taylor guides us through the areas to avoid starting at around 8 a.m. Saturday morning as the race begins at the Old Concord Light Rail Station on North Tryon Street.
