CHARLOTTE — An Amber Alert issued for a three-year-old boy has been canceled, according to the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday afternoon that Malakai Blake Greene was taken by his mother, 25-year-old Alyssa Greene, who violated a court order.
Shortly after 7 p.m., NCDPS announced that the Amber Alert had been canceled. The child was located in Oakboro in Stanly County.
