GASTONIA, N.C. — An armed robbery and police chase Thursday night started at a gas station on Bessemer City Road and Northwest Boulevard in Gastonia.
The robbery victim told officers that he was robbed at gunpoint at the Super Clean Car Wash and then chased the perpetrator’s car for 10 miles until officers tracked them down on Ferguson Road.
Police arrested 41-year-old Johnny Colon and said the case involved cash, ammunition, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
No injuries were reported.
