CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — About a dozen deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a mobile home in Cabarrus County.
Sheriff Brad Riley said a man had just returned to the home on Country View Road not far from Zion Church Road East when a man with a gun knocked on the door and then came into the mobile home.
The armed man stole the resident's wallet and fled on foot. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early 30s with dreadlocks and facial hair. He was wearing red shoes and red pants.
Deputies are searching for the robber.
