Arthur Pullen named new Belmont Police Chief

BELMONT, N.C. — Arthur Pullen has been appointed Chief of Police of the Belmont Police Department, effective Oct. 1. Pullen succeeds retiring Police Chief Boyce “Corky” Falls.

Pullen previously served as assistant Chief of Police and was a member of the department’s senior leadership team.

Arthur Pullen takes over leadership after Police Chief Boyce Falls retires, ending a 31-year career in law enforcement.

In his new role as Chief of Police, Pullen will oversee department operations, personnel management, and public safety programs while continuing the agency’s focus on community partnerships.
