CHARLOTTE — Bank of America Corp. ranked highest among its peers for financial advice, according to this year’s U.S. retail banking advice satisfaction study by J.D. Power.

The study, released on Tuesday, scored BofA at 673 out of 1,000 possible points for customer satisfaction on advice. Nearly 5,500 customers were surveyed in March, having received guidance from their primary bank on products and services within the last year. Second place went to Citibank, followed by TD Bank and a fourth-place tie between Chase Bank and Regions Bank. The industry’s average score came to 631.
