Channel 9’ next Big 22 Player to Watch is Stuart Cramer High School’s Qualteau “Q” Hawkins, who said he discovered his love for football when he was six years old.
He also had help taking his game to the next level.

Hawkins credits his three uncles, whom he said poured into him from the very beginning. Now he’s headed into his senior season at Stuart Cramer, where he’s prioritized team success.
“Our guys have worked hard,” he said. “We bought into the hours, and now it’s just about showing everybody what we’re made of.”
Hawkins said his late grandmother continues to motivate him, and described her as his “why.” He said she helped raise him while growing up, providing support for their family.
Even now, memories of her bring the biggest smile to his face.
“Her cooking, man, it’s so good, and just how genuine of a person she was,” Hawkins said.
