TROUTMAN, N.C. — A black bear has been seen roaming around the Barium Seasons neighborhood in Troutman, police said Sunday in a Facebook post.
Bears normally move quickly through an area looking for food, and if there is none, they move on, the Troutman Police Department said.
If you see a bear, keep your distance. Ensure children are at play in a secure area and under adult supervision. Keep your dogs on leashes and be aware of what’s around you.
