CHARLOTTE — Bank of America Corp. is closing a work-from-home loophole that let employees stretch their weekends.
Starting in mid-September, employees eligible for hybrid schedules can no longer work remotely on two consecutive days in any form. That closes the Friday-to-Monday stretch some employees used to extend weekends away from the office.
The change is companywide. It follows several years of steady in-office requirements for the bank’s client-facing staff.
