MATTHEWS, N.C. — A broken water pipe flooded part of Monroe Road in Matthews during the Thursday evening commute.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom captured video of water gushing out of the pipe at a building.
It flowed across the front yard and out into the street.
The utility department sent a crew out to help the company turn its water off.
