CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Butler High School students are hosting a fundraiser after they say their marching band truck has been twice since Christmas.
Rick Jenson with the school’s band booster club told Channel 9 that the truck was stolen off school property on Christmas Day. Police found it a week later and then about two weeks after that it was stolen again.

The band was eventually able to get the truck back, but it has a shattered windshield, light and bumper. It’s also missing the ignition.
Now, students are asking for the community’s help to make repairs.
