The Cabarrus County Board of Education will hold a public meeting Monday over its redistricting plan.
Some parents are outraged because the plan could send their kids to a new school.
The district superintendent recommends kids at Beverly Hills Elementary in Concord be sent to two different schools, Winecoff Elementary and Royal Oaks Elementary in Kannapolis.
If parents want to speak, they must sign up before the meeting.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m at the county's Education Center on Old Airport Road.
