CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina's Healthcare System will start work on a new medical center in Harrisburg next week.
The $20 million medical pavilion is being built on rocky River Road near the Mecklenburg County line.
CMC-Harrisburg will not be a trauma center, but it will be able to handle most emergencies.
It will also be open 24-7.
According to our partners at the Independent Tribune, it should be open to patients early next year.
