1 hurt after crash involving CATS bus in Uptown, officials say

CHARLOTTE — Crews responded to a crash in Uptown on Saturday morning that involved a Charlotte Area Transportation bus.

A Channel 9 crew arrived at the scene just after 10 a.m. near West 11th Street and North Church Street. The CATS bus appeared to have minor damage.

CATS told Channel 9 one person was transported to the hospital. Neither vehicle was towed, officials said.
