CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Area Transit System will perform a line cut Aug. 8-9 due to construction work. During this time, the LYNX Blue Line will only operate between the New Bern Station and 7th Street Station.
There will be no train service from the Interstate-485/South Boulevard station to New Bern.
Customers can make a connection from all of the closed stations to New Bern Station via the LYNX Connector bus. Each affected station will have signage directing riders to the nearest bus stop.
The bus service will operate every 20 minutes from I-485/South Boulevard. Station.
Customers paying their fare on the bus will need exact change. The bus driver cannot make change and the fareboxes do not accept credit cards.
The LYNX Blue Line is expected to return to its regular schedule Monday morning.
