CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Video sent to Channel 9 captured a car on fire, sliding down an uptown street while still on fire.
Authorities said it happened just before 3 a.m. Saturday on East Morehead Street. Fire crews were able to safely put out the fire.
No one was inside the car at the time of the incident.

In the video sent from Channel 9 viewer Christine Edwards, the car can be seen crashing into a curb after sliding down the street.
Officials have not said what caused the fire. We have reached out to authorities for more details.
