CHARLOTTE — All lanes of Central Avenue are closed in both directions after a crash involving a dump truck and power lines on Thursday morning.
The accident happened just before 8 a.m. and resulted in over 800 power outages, according to Duke Energy.

According to MEDIC, only one person was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
Duke Energy said power is expected to be restored by 11:30 a.m.
