CHARLOTTE — Students at Central Piedmont Community College began the next chapter of their lives as they received their degrees on Thursday.
Emotions and proud family members filled Bojangles Coliseum, especially for Zachary Moore, who recently lost his father to a heart attack.

“I’m wearing my parent’s wedding ring and his cologne, so it’s just like having pieces of him,” Moore told Channel 9.
Moore finished his time at Central Piedmont with a 4.0 grade point average. He has been accepted into multiple universities and plans to spend his life helping others.
