CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-based Sealed Air is introducing a new version of its classic bubble wrap to help cut down on shipping costs.

The Wall Street Journal reports the new product called "I-Bubble Wrap" will look similar to the original with one major difference -- it won't pop.

The Journal reports the product will be sold in sheets that will be filled by the shipper with a custom made pump.

The move will cut the cost of shipping the popular packing material, and reduce storage space at warehouses.
