Charlotte Douglas Airport job fair to be held Saturday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Job seekers in Charlotte will have the chance to apply for several open positions at Charlotte Douglas International Airport Saturday.
 
The airport is hosting a job fair at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and Fire Academy on Shopton Road in southwest Charlotte from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Employers are looking to fill positions in housekeeping, retail, parking and other services.

Charlotte Douglas is one of the largest employers in Mecklenburg County and is credited for directly or indirectly creating over 100,000 jobs in the region by the businesses it serves. More than 18,000 workers are employed within the terminal and surrounding airfield, including approximately 10,000 American Airlines' employees.

Attendees are asked to dress in business casual attire and to bring multiple copies of their resume. Some applications will be available to fill out on-site.
