Charlotte Fire responds to Charlotte Douglas for reports of ruptured gas line

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Fire responded to Charlotte Douglas International Airport Thursday afternoon for reports of a ruptured gas line.

Fire crews said they are attempting to control the leak after airport officials said a contractor cut a gas line.

MEDIC also responded to the scene, but did not say if anyone was hurt.

Charlotte Douglas officials said the gas leak had no impact to airport operations.
